ABOUT THE PROGRAM
LA Kings Sled Hockey, in conjunction with the LA Kings, provides physically disabled youth and adults all throughout Southern California the opportunity to play in a USA Hockey-recognized hockey program.
Sled hockey participants discover that piloting a sled is fun and a great form of exercise. It increases strength and abdominal muscles. Players will find they enjoy greater physical fitness, opportunities to compete internationally, socialization, team camaraderie, new friendships and a lot of fun.
Adult and youth players are welcome. The adult team plays in the Pacific Sled Hockey League and also represents the LA Kings at the Sled Classic and Disabled Festival; the team travels four to five times per season.
